Training on Monitoring of habitats and species in the Strandzha National Park

On February 9, 2022, Plovdiv University “Paisii Hilendarski” hosted a meeting on “Monitoring of habitats and species in the Strandzha National Park”, organized within the project “BSB ECO MONITORING – Joint Monitoring for Environmental Protection in the countries of the Black Sea basin”. Representatives of project stakeholders had the opportunity to learn about the key messages of the project, current progress and results achieved so far. A fruitful discussion was held on how to ensure the sustainability of results and activities and the continuation of cooperation among all interested parties, after the completion of the project.
Aiming to further raise visibility, to promote and disseminate results and engage target groups representatives an online presentation with discussion session was organized on 26.01.2022. Eighteen researches, young science and students of ecology took part in the on-line event with the aim of contributing to mapping and reflecting the project’s development.
